A personal plan of beauty designed to enhance how good you look!
Dr. Hugo Higa has developed the Gift of Beauty program for clients who are interested in more than one cosmetic service over the course of one year. Selection of two or more cosmetic enhancements will allow our clients to enjoy substantial savings on combined services.
As part of the gift of beauty, you may select the Fraxel Skin Rejuvenation Method, and upper or lower eyelid lift enhancements, or brow freshening. To accompany these treatments we will recommend a special facial regimen that may include spa treatments using physician grade skincare products, boosted with at–home skin protection and care. Each personal gift of beauty plan will be designed by Dr. Hugo Higa, with the assistance of our skincare specialist, Isabel Ferraira, licensed esthetician. They will provide a complimentary Visia Complexion Analysis that will illustrate your before and after results of skincare regimens.

Your Concern: Dark Spots, Sun Damage, Fine Lines, Melasma, Acne Scars
We Recommend: The Fraxel 1500 Skin Rejuvenation Method (examples)
Enjoy the look of skin that is newly rejuvenated with this unique treatment that is especially effective in the treatment of brown spots or dark skin pigmentation. You may have spent a few too many years in the sun before sun block, and have "spots" on your face that are hard to cover with makeup. The Fraxel 1500 SR Method will also start to erase fine wrinkles around the forehead and eyes, and may be used on the face, hands, neck, back, arms, and legs. The Fraxel 1500 SR has been approved to treat the "puka's" and unevenness from acne scars. It is especially effective on the dark patches on the cheeks, forehead, and around the mouth caused by hormone–related melasma. The Fraxel 1500 SR Method is most recommended for Asian skin to avoid hyperpigmentation in the treatment of dark spots that a CO2 laser may aggravate.

Eye Rejuvenation Menu
Your Concern: Droopy "Sleepy–looking" Eyelids
We Recommend: Blepharoplasty, Upper Lid Surgery* (examples)
Over time, your upper eyelid may droop only slightly or it may cover most of the pupil. In some cases, this droopiness can restrict and even block normal vision. Dr. Higa will perform upper eyelid surgery to "open" the eyes for a more alert, youthful result.

Your Concern: Puffy Lower Eyelids
In the case of lower eyelids, puffiness, bags, and wrinkles are the most common problems. Fat may be removed or redistributed, and skin wrinkles may be smoothed with a laser.

Your Concern: Droopy Brows
Sun, wind, and gravity affect the skin and muscles of the face over time. One of the most noticeable aspects of aging is a progressive drooping of the eyebrows. This can cause wrinkling of the forehead from raising one's eyebrows, as well as vertical wrinkles or furrows between the eyebrows. Sometimes the eyebrows or excess eyelid tissue can obstruct vision. A brow lift or forehead lift elevates the brow and smoothes forehead skin, and can remove vertical lines between the eyebrows.

Your Concern: Wrinkles when you make an expression

We Recommend: BOTOX (examples)
The application of BOTOX dramatically improves the look of wrinkles by relaxing the muscles that create them. BOTOX is particularly effective for crow's feet around the eyes and between the eyebrows.

We Recommend: Restylane
Restylane is a derma filler that dramatically improves the look of skin by filling out deep lines caused by repetitive action. It is particularly effective around the nasolabial folds around the mouth that create a frowning look. When used with BOTOX, a Restylane program helps fill out the wrinkles, while BOTOX hampers wrinkle formation by relaxing the muscle.

Physician Grade Skincare Products Maintenance Menu
The Gift of Beauty medi–spa was conceived as part of the "whole–you" treatment concept. Following cosmetic procedures, special attention to the skin is necessary and enhances the outcome. All facials include a complimentary hot mitt hand treatment and hand massage. Medi–spa facials are based on a package of six treatments over the course of one year. Your gift of beauty medi–spa program includes one treatment free and a complimentary full–size sun block product chosen for your individual needs.
Medi–spa Facial: Six Treatments, $550
Cleanse and exfoliate with Alpha and Beta Hydroxy Acids. These special treatments improve the look and texture of skin. Extractions are performed, and a soothing masque is applied after exfoliation.
Petite Facial: Six Treatments, $325
To maintain healthy, glowing skin, the petite facial cleanses, exfoliates, and revitalizes.
Firming Facial: Six Treatments, $475
Enjoy a customized mask that will help firm, hydrate, and give you a luminous glow.
Soothing Facial: Six Treatments, $350
Sensitive skin types will benefit from this "drink of water" that super rejuvenates and moisturizes.
Acne Facial: Six Treatments, $275
Anti–bacterial cleansing and extractions combine to destroy the bacteria that contribute to acne. A special masque is used to hydrate and calm the skin.
