Nearsightedness
Verisyse implantable lenses may be offered to help correct cases of severe nearsightedness. The lenses are a more permanent alternative to glasses and contact lenses, and are an option to LASIK. The lenses are inserted between the iris and the cornea, providing an extra focusing lens to improve vision, and to promote better acceptance of the implant. (below: simulatd Nearsighted vision)
