LASIK
Laser–Assisted–In–Situ–Keratomileusis (LASIK) is the most commonly performed refractive surgery to correct nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. Dr. Higa uses a refractive laser to create a flap in the outer covering of the eye, then the corneal tissue is modified to enhance visual sharpness. The flap is then laid back into place.
