Astigmatism
Astigmatism occurs when the curvature of the cornea is shaped more oval than round. This irregular shape causes blurriness in near and far vision. Dr. Higa uses the Allegretto Wave–Front Excimer Laser technology to create a precise map of how an eye processes images, thus guiding the reshaping of the cornea for optimum correction.
