Corneal Transplants & Procedures
The cornea works to focus light on the retina. When the cornea is damaged or diseased, it may become swollen or scarred, and distorted light will cause blurred vision. A corneal transplant removes the damaged cornea and replaces it with a donor or artificial cornea.
