Fuchs Endothelial Dystrophy (or Fuchs Disease)
An abnormality in the endothelial layer of the cornea causes fluid build up in the cornea layers resulting in cloudiness. The patient may first notice glare in sunlight, or "stars" while driving at night. For some people, morning vision is most affected, with clearing as the day progresses. At later stages of the disease, vision is affected all the time.
